Creating a Spring Mantle

Spring Mantle

I don’t know about where you are, but here in NY we still have plenty of snow! The snow makes me feel so blah…. During this time of the year I try to keep my design easy and light. I’m eager to move on from the snow and introduce some greens. As the season progresses I will start to add more color to my home; for now I accentuate my mantle with white roses, candles, and greenery.

The Olive Bush featured behind Toshi, is a new purchase I recently made. If your a plant killer like me, faux plants are a lifesaver. Plants give the impression of freshness to a space and add texture. You can find the link for the 37″ Olive Bush below. I am pleased with its quality and the size of the bush.

Here is another view of the Olive Bush. I will also link this chair for those that are looking for something similar.

I purchased this chair on sale for half the price at a Tuesday Morning outlet. They are only found in some states, therefore I have included the link for Kirklands. I have seen this chair go on sale at Kirklands and with a coupon you can get a good deal for it.

When your working around a TV on your mantle the best thing to do is to design with a light hand. As you can see I accentuated one side of my mantle with my antique bird cage and tiered candles.

The other side of my mantle I tried to keep it symmetrical so your eyes flows easily. I added some faux roses in a simple farmhouse vase. See Link Buttons for where I purchased them.

I’m not a big Valentine Decor person, but I did decorate with these cute LED heart lights I found on amazon. I strung them on my mantle and I have to say, I love them! They are sweet and come with a plug and the option for battery use. I like how light weight they are and the added ambience they add on those cold winter nights. I will link for you and add them to my storefront

Now if I close my curtains I can imagine myself in a cozy cottage on a beautiful spring day! It really is all about creating a light and warm space.

I have tried to think of as many links as possible, if I missed some or you have questions just send me an email or drop me a comment and I will get back to you.

Have fun decorating!
