Fall Decor Around A TV

This is one of my favorite times of the year—it’s fall! I can’t wait for pumpkin spice lattes, cozy sweaters, stylish boots, and all the seasonal decorations. It signals the beginning of the holiday season, and for decor enthusiasts like me, it’s the perfect opportunity to get creative and make our spaces warm and inviting.

If you’re like me and have your TV above the fireplace, it can limit your decorating options. But that doesn’t mean we can’t make it work! This year, I want to share a guide on how to create a simple yet enchanting centerpiece for your room.

I made my own wreath using leaves I carefully removed from a plastic branch.

Step 1 Pumpkin Theme: I absolutely love pumpkins! While Halloween isn’t my favorite, I prefer to embrace the Fall season with oranges, candles, and, of course, pumpkins. I decided to make pumpkins and burnt oranges the central theme. Plus, I aimed to stick to a friendly budget by using items I already have on hand.

Step 2 Creating an easy Garland: I discovered these heart LED lights and keep them up nearly all year long. I love the warm, festive glow they cast on my fireplace. I also bought six burnt floral stems from Joann’s. I simply removed a few branches and wove them into the heart lights to create my own garland. I used the remaining branches around the room to create uniformity.

Step 3 Wicker Pumpkin Light-Up: I know it might be a bit controversial to not use our fireplace for an actual fire. As much as I enjoy a warm glow, I’m not a fan of the mess it creates. This year, I decided to place my light-up wicker pumpkin inside the fireplace and arrange some leaves around the base. This way, I can still enjoy that cozy ambiance without the cleanup. I purchased this wicker pumpkin years ago at Pier 1, but unfortunately, I couldn’t find it again. I did come across a similar option at Kirkland’s, although it’s a bit on the pricey side.

I have increased the lighting on the photo so you can see it clearly.

Step 4 Keep It Simple: I’m not a fan of clutter; I believe simplicity lends an air of elegance and refinement to a space. Less truly can be more! Around my TV, I decided to display my silver mercury and ceramic orange pumpkins. While they don’t have to match, I personally love symmetry, which is why I placed one on each side. I finished the look with my gold-plated candlesticks and some wireless candles.

Step 5 Florals: I love incorporating floral stems throughout my space. You can buy a bunch, separate them, and use them in various ways, just like I did. I used them for my garland, in a large planter, and on top of my piano. They’re incredibly versatile and can easily tie together the centerpiece of any room.

I wanted to share some inspiring fireplace decor that I came across. These examples showcase beautiful designs that maintain a simple and elegant feel. They demonstrate how to easily decorate around a TV while keeping the space clutter-free.

You can easily substitute a mirror for your TV and envision how to decorate the space in a similar way. I especially love the candlesticks and the Chinoiserie temple jar!

They’ve added a light above their TV to enhance its presence and make it feel more like a work of art. The florals and pumpkins beautifully complete the look.
