Hard to believe we are already in November! My Christmas decorating planning is in full swing with my theme and color already nailed down. Now I just have to bring everything together. In order to save money, I like to upcycle old ornaments and decorations. It also creates fun projects that I can do with my daughter. This one is so easy that anyone can do it!
Supplies

- Paper Plates
- Glitter (I like the extra fine because it really catches the light)
- Scrappy Glue for Glitter (I think Elmer’s Glue would work too)
- Paint Brush (Good quality Brush that doesn’t shed)
How To Glitter Ornaments
Step 1: Squeeze some glue onto a paper plate and use your paint brush to apply it to your ornament.
Step 2: Paint one side of the ornament with glue at a time.
Step 3: After you have applied the paint, transfer a fresh paper plate under the ornament and begin sprinkling the glitter over the ornament (allowing the paper plate to catch the fallen glitter). Give the ornament a shake onto the paper plate to release any excess glitter. Put the ornament aside to dry and work on another while its resting.

Repeat Step 1 for new ornament. This time when you go to apply glitter put a fresh paper plate under the ornament and use the preexisting paper plate with the glitter to sprinkle it over your applied glue.
It only takes a few minutes for the glue to dry. By the time you finish painting one side of an ornament, the other ornament that sat drying should be ready for glue and glitter on the other side.
That is it! It really is that easy 🙂 Happy Glittering

These are so starry, starry holiday!
